AfterMatched against the Peugeot the Ferrari 499P did his best, finally stooping to nudging his competitor off the track which whilst looking like a victory was a hollow one .. 1 hour 40 minutes after punting the Peugeot the Ferraris wheels ejected, this car was destined to fail when it did..

AfterHead to head with the Ferrari 499P this proved to be a thriller of a match up.. finally losing by TKO the Peugeot lodged an appeal and has been re-added to the next car list, the Ferrari helped shove the Peugeot off the track, and the Peugeot rode up onto the rear bumper which officials have deemed unsafe for future runs.. he will go again!

AfterMrs E Brought this car home one day when she'd been rummaging in the mainline bin at Morrisons, I took one look at the narrow wheelbase, thick wheels and fancy finish and though "Yup, this this is going to break some records.." oops.

AfterWell, it does say on the packaging "Display Model".. and the finish is superb, the livery is printed so well on this car it would grace any collection with pride.. sadly however the Showcar nature of the running gear let it down and it threw a wheel at 181mph on day 2 of its run.. we shall be avenging him though with a 2026 casting of Jimmy Johnsons Carvana car as soon as we can.. RIP Kyle Busch.

AfterSo for the next car we figured we'd try one of those case queens, the ones that are not toys and are meant for the over 6's.. for sure it's beautiful, but will it fall to bits in 2 days? Nope.. it got on the belt, it got dirty and it sat solid until day 15 when it finally slid to one side and left the road, but as of writing this is the car to beat! (We think the wheels being fused to the axles stopped the axles eating the wheel centres which is what killed all the other cars.

AfterOur first non Hot Wheels car, a Majorette, I bought this for 2 reasons.. 1. Gulf Colours, the best livery ever if we ignore a couple of other ones, and more importantly it has a real Suspension! .. did it make a difference? Yes, the slow motion footage we took showed it definitely riding the belt smoothly due to the suspension, it's just a shame the axles ground their way out of the wheel hubs and it ground to a halt.. it did a great time though!

AfterThe little car that stole everyone's hearts, we didn't know what difference being untethered would make, but this car showed us! He started off clean, we joked he was non stick, but after a week passed he started to show the signs of wear, and then he went on and on, finally locking up just before he hit 2 weeks.. the first true hero of the channel.

AfterThis was our first rubber tyred car, and our last go with a lateral tether (look close you can see it behind the car) .. all the runs from here on are held in place by gravity and "bumpers at the rear and front corners.

AfterI ran this car for fun, tethered so it couldn't move laterally, but could bounce vertically, it got dirty quickly and attracted the attention of the actual motoring press mainly due to the image above.. since this run it's hard to get good photos because we have every angle covered the live stream cameras, but this car turned what was going to be a fun 5 hour stream into a full time channel! Why no dirt in the after shot? We got too excited to pull it apart and the dirt fell off..
